4th Quarter 2007

1/06 – As a result of improved manufacturing efficiency and a ~40% increase in production staff, Stealth Microwave now has over 100 of our SSPA modules in stock for 1-2 week ARO delivery. Our in-stock selections range in frequency from 400 MHz to 5.9 GHz and power levels from 4 to 100 W P1dB.

 

4th Quarter 2005

11/05 – Stealth Microwave has begun work on linearized SSPAs for use in next-generation BTS demonstration units from Qualcomm. The customer’s requests to re-band an off the shelf ultra linear SM2325-47L unit were met by Stealth Engineering in less than a week’s time. The new unit, centered at 2100 MHz, provides an OIP3 comparable to competitor modules twice its size and is well suited to complex proprietary waveforms that need to meet stringent ACPR requirements.

 

3rd Quarter 2005

7/05 – After 208 days this year, Stealth has quoted more than 365 new opportunities; nearing the 2 quote/day mark. If this rate is maintained, the Sales office will have fielded more than 630 requests, a 128% increase over 2004. With last year’s order / quote percentage at approx 55%, many new orders are expected in the final quarters of 2005.

7/05 – During July, Stealth increased its staff more than 15% and started a second shift in order to keep up with demand for its WiMax, TD-CDMA and ENG/HDTV amplifiers.

7/05 - Stealth, in an effort to be RoHS compliant has successfully implemented “lead-free” into the present production. A small percentage of Stealth’s products will incorporate the new materials. As we come up the “learning curves” of “lead-free” materials, we will incorporate this across a wider percentage of products. To minimize any problems associated with the new materials, Stealth is conducting ongoing testing and MTBF studies to insure our high quality, while seeking RoHS compliance. In a cooperative effort with our vendors, we expect improved materials to arrive over the next few months prior to the 2006 deadline. This will inevitably make our transition easier.

7/05 - Micronetics, Inc. (NASDAQ:NOIZ) announced today that its subsidiary, Stealth Microwave, has booked over $1.5M in orders that are expected to be deliverable during the current fiscal year. The orders came from a large U.S. television broadcaster, as well as, integrators of digital wireless broadcasting equipment. 7/05 - Micronetics, Inc. 2nd Quarter 2005

5/05 – Stealth receives an order valued at over $725,000 for three of its ultra linear models, the SM2025-42LS, SM2025-41LS, and the SM2025-44L. Designed for demanding signals like COFDM, these amplifiers will be used in Engineering News Gathering Digital video transmitters manufactured by Nucomm that will play a major part in the 2GHz Broadcast Auxiliary Services relocation project, spearheaded by Nextel and the FCC. This order is the first in a series of blankets that should extend through 2006.

5/05 – One of Stealth’s long-time customers, Windermere IT Systems, orders additional SM02932-58 amplifiers for use in flight applications. The unit is designed for and is regularly screened for various MIL STD shock and environmental compliance.

4/05 – Stealth receives a blanket order for another new design, the SMM2025-44L. For ENG vehicle applications, this is a mast mount unit capable of delivering over 8W of COFDM video transmission. The unit’s weatherproof housing is designed to be compatible with most ENG truck configurations, and works with a vast array of commercially available COFDM coders. This is the only model available to delivery this much power and only consume ~100 Watts of DC power. This is also the first model to not need active cooling and have extended features such as bypass mode and notch filtering of interfering signals.

4/05 – Stealth receives a blanket order from an OEM contract manufacturer for its new LS model operating from 1.99 to 2.5 GHz. These units were recently featured in MPDs April issue. They are some of the smallest amplifiers to deliver ultra-linear OFDM performance.

4/05 – A new order for two 3 GHz models was received from a new European customer for delivery in late May and early June. These units will be implemented in new WiMax transmitters to be deployed this summer.

 

1st Quarter 2005

3/05 – Two medical equipment manufacturers have placed orders for a newly designed Stealth model, the SM2325-53LD, to power prototype microwave ablation devices. This is a 200W P1dB amplifier has a center frequency of 2.45 GHz, utilizing the newest LDMOS devices for high efficiency performance. Features include forward/reverse power detection and TTL on/off. See our What’s New page for more details.

3/05 - Stealth continues to deliver a customized version of the wideband SM0520-36H to its Florida-based customer for use in military radios. Over 650 units have been supplied to this customer since 2002, with not one field failure due to quality.

3/05 – Stealth receives follow on orders for 2.6 GHz, ultra linear amplifiers for high speed data applications. Units will be deployed in 2 major U.S. cities for continued field trials. Expansion to full deployment should occur in 2006.

3/05 – A new prototype order was received for 450 MHz, ultra linear, high speed switching amplifiers to be used in TDD systems deployed in eastern European countries.

3/05 – For the month of February, Stealth breaks an new record of units shipped in one months time. Over 360 pcs were shipped to customers around the world.

2/05 –Stealth receives a large pre-production order from a Chinese customer for its 3 GHz, 50 Watt, UMTS-TDD amplifier. The order is to be shipped by April, thereafter a significant production order is expected to be shipped in 2005 and 2006.

2/05 – During the last week of February, Stealth Microwave’s Sales Department reported requests for quotations exceeded the 2 per day mark. They have also noted that 68% more quotes have been released than this time last year. A current order to quote percentage of 57% marks the beginning of another promising year for Stealth.

2/05 – Although 2004 was a record year in sales and profits, Stealth's Sales Department reported 2005 sales to be 60% better than this time last year. Gross Profit increased 71% and EBITDA increased by 95%. As orders increased, we found several innovated ways to increase our efficiency which went straight to our bottom line.

2/05 – Stealth receives a prototype order for a 40W linear amplifier operating in the extended band of 2.0 to 2.5 GHz. This unit enhances our Extended Band product line with offers now at 6W, 12W, 25W and 40W.

2/05 – Stealth has received a prototype order for a 450 MHz, UMTS-TDD amplifier that will extend our customer's product line of high-speed data networks. The unit will produce the same performance as our 1900 MHz offering with a new DC connector that integrates DC power, logic control and an RF sampling port. This new connector will soon be offered across most of our product lines.

2/05 – Stealth receives more orders for its 20W, linearized DVB amplifier, operating in the 6.4-7.2 GHz frequency band. This unit produces better than 5 Watts of linear OFDM performance.

1/05 – Stealth receives blanket order for 20 Watt amplifiers operating in the MMDS band. The German customer requested shipments through the year to support their new DVB systems.

1/05 – Stealth builds and ships a modified SM0825-40 in one day to one of its broadcast customers. They needed an amp linear enough for COFDM digital video transmission tuned to the 1.4 to 1.5 GHz frequency band. This was used to provide a wireless video feed during the presidential inauguration parade, during which all other frequencies were restricted.

1/05 – Stealth ships a rush order of its SM0825-40 modules to a large EM countermeasures customer for a prototype system. This shipment was also expedited to meet their aggressive development schedules.

 

4th Quarter 2004

12/04 – Stealth finishes 2004 with record revenues and earnings. 2004 revenues grew 66% over 2003, with earnings before taxes and depreciation up 132%.

12/04 – Stealth ships from stock, an initial prototype order for a military application at 460 MHz. The 5 Watt units enabled the customer to immediately build and demonstrate its transmitter to the military in less than 1 week.

11/04 – Stealth receives a blanket order spanning 2005 into 2006 for the SM2025-44L, an OFDM, linear amplifier used in digital video applications. The units are used in various sporting events including NASCAR races and the Tour de France. A follow-on order is expected where Stealth will integrate the amplifier into a front end system for tower-top applications.

11/04 – Stealth ships the first full dual-band amplifier for military jamming purposes. The unit delivers 30W of power in both the 900 MHz GSM and 1800 MHz DCS bands. The unit measures 6.4” L x 5.96” W x 1.0” H.

11/04 - Stealth ships first production sub-systems to a military contractor for phone interception, surveillance and jamming. Each system utilized a dual band amplifier, each capable of producing a 30 Watt GSM, band-pass signal. Frequencies included selected European 900 and 1800 MHz and US 800 and 1900 MHz bands.

10/04 - See the SM3436-47L featured on the cover of Wireless Design and Development’s November 2004 issue. This Ultra Linear model operates from 3.4-3.6 GHz with 50W of P1dB power. Click here for specs.

10/04 - Stealth continues to deliver 5W wideband amplifiers to a Florida contract manufacturer for use in various military radio systems. Over 200 units have been shipped since September.

10/04 - Stealth Microwave receives order for its high power SM2122-52LD module from TriQuint Semiconductor. This unit will be mounted in our SR3 19” rack unit, and utilized as part of the W-CDMA test set for their new InGaP HBT devices. (See Cover, October 2004 Microwave Journal)

10/04 - Stealth Microwave ships an SL0825-40 wideband lab unit to MIT and some SM5759-37HS modules to Georgia Tech. Educational institutions across the country look to Stealth for providing state of the art amplifiers, fostering research & development efforts of the next generation of RF engineers.

10/04 - Stealth receives blanket order from California customer for SM2025-44L modules, to be used for digital video transmitters for the military. One of the most popular models in our product line, the SM2025-44L is favored for its excellent COFDM performance and small size.

10/04 - Stealth ships customized SM0520-36H modules to Telcordia Technologies for MIMO systems research. These units were modified to work across the entire 450 – 2200 MHz band. Call our sales department for specs and availability of this model.

10/04 – Stealth ships initial prototype orders to two customers for new Wi-Max broadband wireless services. One customer is in Canada, while the other is in Europe. Both models operate near 3.5 GHz, with approximately 25 Watts of P1dB output power.

 

3rd Quarter 2004

09/04 – Stealth receives fourth consecutive mass production order for its 5W wideband amplifiers for use in military communications subsystems. Stealth’s customer needed to respond to unexpected, increased demand for their product which extends through Q1 2005.

09/04 – Stealth Sales reports that the rate of new orders is nearing the 1 per day figure. Sales revenue to date has exceeded yearly sales at EOY 2003 by 50%.

09/04 – Stealth delivers custom 18-22 GHz , 1/2 W amplifiers to large test and measurement company. This special request called for a completely new design, which had a life cycle of less than 9 weeks from specification requirement submittal to product delivery.

08/04 – Stealth receives orders for several linear and ultra linear models ranging from 2.0 – 2.7 GHz, with outputs from 5 – 25W. This application involves wireless video transmission using COFDM modulation and has spawned the development of two new models, the SM2327-41LS, and the SM2025-41LS. These 12.5 W amplifiers employ Stealth’s proprietary ultra linear technology in an even smaller package (6”x 2.5” x .56”).

08/04 – Stealth receives numerous orders from one of its European customers, specializing in Broadband Wireless Access base stations, operating in the 1.9 and 3.5 GHz bands. Stealth has been supplying this company thousands of its 25 and 50 W units, which feature our proprietary linearization circuitry and high speed switching capability for UMTS-TDD and TD-CDMA applications, among others.

08/04 – Stealth receives order for several 1.7-2.0 GHz, 100W amplifiers from Qualcomm. These units were included with custom built control boards featuring an RS-232 interface.

07/04 - Stealth receives follow on order for 800-960 MHz, 5W amplifiers to extend the range of PLC radios in industrial control applications.

07/04 - Stealth builds custom 3.7-3.8 GHz, 6W amplifier for European company, specializing in broadband wireless base stations.

07/04 - Stealth receives initial orders for 30 and 60 Watt amplifiers for integration in new military vehicle multi-band radios.

07/04 - Stealth receives the first of three production orders for its WLL 3.5 GHz, 3G, 50 Watt amplifier. This is the first order from a large American customer with manufacturing located in mainland China. This company is presently the 5th largest telecom company in mainland China.

07/04 - Stealth receives several orders for its MMDS 12 and 25 Watt amplifiers. Both units will be used in digital television applications. Two customers are in the U.S., while the third is from Germany.

07/04 - Stealth receives a pre-production order from a customer in the Netherlands. The wideband, 4 Watt units will be used for a variety of wireless products.

07/04 - Stealth finishes the first half of 2004 on track for a record year in sales. We will most likely double our sales over 2003 which was also a record year.


2nd Quarter - 2004

06/04 - Stealth receives orders for several amplifiers to be used in NTSC or PAL broadcast markets. Output powers vary from 5 Watts to 50 Watts, in frequency bands from 2.0 to 7.1 GHz.

06/04 - Stealth receives a pre-production order for its UMTS, 2 GHz, 3G, 50 Watt amplifier. Large orders are expected to follow as deployment of the high speed system expands.

06/04 - Stealth receives large production order through a contract manufacturer for a southern military customer used in mobile radio communication subsystems. This is the third large order for the wideband unit that uses a black heatsink instead of our trademark purple due to security issues.

06/04 - Stealth receives follow-on orders from Lucent for GSM development at 900 MHz and 1800 MHz.

06/04 - Stealth receives a new order from a military customer for multiple 20W, 1.4 GHz solid state power amplifiers. These units feature our high speed switching circuit for TDD operation.

05/04 - Stealth's quoting activity continues into the 2nd quarter at roughly two per day. Our present order to quote ratio is 50.3%.

05/04 - Stealth ships new 12 Watt, UMTS, ultra-linear amplifiers for new European customer. The units took advantage of Stealth's linearization technology to produce un-matched performance.

05/04 - Stealth ships order of 800 MHz linear amplifiers to west-coast customer for new Wi-Fi system in Mexico. Shipments were made less than one week from time of order to insure "on-time" delivery for end customer.

05/04 - Stealth receives follow-on order for 25W, 1.9 GHz amplifiers to be used in WCDMA applications. 50W versions of this amplifier shipped last month.

05/04 - Stealth receives follow-on order from Ericsson for medium power 400 MHz amplifiers.

04/04 - Stealth ships a wideband unit to NASA for engineering test. The amplifier will be used for simulation test equipment.

04/04 - Stealth receives follow-on order for OFDM, TV transmitter amplifiers from a new west-coast customer. The ultra-linear units operate from 2.0 to 2.5 GHz.


1st Quarter - 2004

03/04 - Stealth's 2004, 1st quarter revenue grew 274% over the same period in 2003, and 375% over 2002.

03/04 - Stealth receives follow-on order for its wideband amplifiers to be used in military-mobile applications.

03/04 - Stealth increases its manufacturing/warehouse space by 25%. The new space will allow us to expand our stockroom, machine shop, reflow and assembly locations.

03/04 - Stealth receives order from new mid-west military customer for 5W, wideband SSPAs.

03/04 - Stealth receives follow-on order for wideband, ultra-linear, 8W amplifiers to fill RF "voids" in rural Canadian towns. The units cover both cellular and PCS bands.

03/04 - Stealth Microwave shipped its 10,000th solid state power amplifier to an overseas customer. This landmark occurred 4-1/2 years after the 1000th amplifier was shipped in 1999.

03/04 - Stealth receives an order for a TV transmitter amplifier from a new west-coast customer. Follow-on orders are expected after initial shipment.

03/04 - Stealth receives prototype order for a 50W, WCDMA amplifier for a new high speed data system operating at 2.1 GHz. Large production orders expected Q3 2004.

02/04 - Stealth receives follow-on order for a 5W, wideband military application. The unit was uniquely designed for the customer and features ultra-small size with a by-pass option. Continued orders expected in March.

01/04 - Stealth ships their new 5.7-5.9 GHz, 5W amplifier to a Canadian customer.

01/04 - Stealth Microwave, Inc. adds a second shift to keep up with demand.

01/04 - Stealth receives follow-on orders for 900 MHz and 1800 MHz, multi-carrier, GSM amplifiers and single carrier UMTS 3GPP amplifiers. The application is to extend cellular networks inside train and car tunnels.

01/04 - Stealth Microwave, Inc. starts the year with a record backlog exceeding $2.5M.


4th Quarter - 2003

12/03 - SSB Technologies, Inc. announces that it will reincorporate in January 2004 under its trade name Stealth Microwave, Inc. Our web site will change to www.stealthmicrowave.com.

12/03 - Stealth ends 2003 with sales rising 131% over 2002.

12/03 - Stealth receives follow-on military orders for 100W data transmission in multiple frequency bands.

12/03 - Stealth receives order for digital television amplifiers operating from 2.0-2.5 GHz.

11/03 - Stealth receives new orders exceeding $1M for world wide data applications.

11/03 - Stealth breaks all time record for sales and is on track to break record in profits.

11/03 - Stealth receives orders for multi-band application from domestic customer. Amplifiers are used for single carrier GSM systems, operating in 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz.

11/03 - Stealth backlog at record highs.

10/03 - Stealth develops new 100W avg. CDMA booster amplifier for new cellular network in mainland China.

10/03 - Stealth receives order for just under $1.0 M from European customer for MMDS/PCS/WLL two-way data application.


3rd Quarter - 2003

9/03 - Stealth continues to expand its staff to keep up with current demands.

9/03 - Stealth on course for a record year in sales.

8/03 - Stealth adds two new rep firms - Acetech in Southern California and Micro Sales in the Mid-West.

8/03 - Stealth receives additional follow-on orders from a 2nd Asian customer for GSM booster amplifiers. Stealth continues to strengthen presence in China.

8/03 - Stealth receives follow-on production orders for GSM booster amplifiers. This order is the largest in terms of quantity ever received. Shipments are scheduled into 4th quarter 2003.

8/03 - Stealth receives new order for Australian television broadcasting using OFDM technology. This is a follow-on order originating from the US.

8/03 - Stealth receives large production order for wideband military amplifiers used on light armored vehicles.

8/03 - Stealth receives from domestic customer, multiple orders of its ultra linear 2.6 GHz amplifiers for digital television.

7/03 - Stealth expands its staff by over 20% to keep up with current demand of it's linear and ultra linear amplifiers.

7/03 - Stealth upgrades quality certification to ISO9001:2000.

7/03 - Stealth receives follow-on order for 2.4 GHz linear amplifiers, for European digital TV.

7/03 - Stealth receives new production orders for its 3.5 GHz linear 3GPP power amplifiers for up and coming European high speed data networks.


2nd Quarter - 2003

6/03 - Stealth releases the 4th edition of it's product brochure. We also completely revamped our web site to bring it up to 2003 specifications, plus make it easier to navigate.

6/03 - Stealth receives revised blanket order for more of it's 800 Watt, 300 MHz linear amplifier to be used in military aircraft including the Apache helicopter and B2 bomber.

6/03 - Stealth receives follow-on production order for its GSM booster amplifiers, both 100 and 200 Watt versions.

5/03 - Stealth receives first order for new GSM booster amplifiers that deliver twice as much power (3dB) as current production units. Initial order is for Asian market.

4/03 - Stealth receives follow on order for high power, GSM booster amplifiers. These units are used to upgrade current cell sites in Asia.

4/03 - Stealth continues to receive follow on production orders for its 1.9 and 2.5 GHz linear 3GPP power amplifiers for European and Far East high speed data networks.


1st Quarter - 2003

Stealth receives follow-on order for its wideband military amplifiers. Units must ship with black heatsinks instead of our trademarked purple heatsinks since they are not to be identified.

Stealth receives follow-on order from Canadian customer for ultra high OIP3, wideband amplifiers that extend cell-coverage in both 800 and 1.9 GHz.

Stealth receives a blanket order for its military 300 MHz, 800W power amplifier. The order extends through 2003 into 2004.

Stealth receives a new order from China manufacturer for 900 MHz booster amplifiers.

Stealth receives order from a domestic customer for a 900MHz, 200W booster amplifier to follow the 100W units already shipped.

Stealth receives large production order from European customer for 3G MMDS amplifiers used in broadband internet applications.

Stealth completes deliveries of 900MHz and 1800MHz multi-carrier amplifiers for European tunnel application. Follow on order expected in March, 2003.

Stealth receives order for ultra linear 50W and 100W MMDS units for domestic customer. Several 5W units were also included in this order.

Stealth receives large production order for its military wideband units from domestic customer. Follow on order is expected 3rd or 4th quarter of 2003.

Stealth receives first production order for 5 GHz TWTA replacement amplifiers for the Thai Air force. Follow up orders are expected for the next 2 years.


4th Quarter - 2002

Stealth Microwave receives follow-on order for its 900 MHz, 50W LDMOS amplifiers for medical applications.

Stealth Microwave begins shipment of pre-production, multi-carrier GSM amplifiers for European customer to be used in tunnels. Production orders expected by end of Dec. for both 900 MHz and 1800 MHz.

Stealth Microwave receives multiple orders for its 800 MHz - 2.5 GHz wideband 10W amplifiers.

Stealth Microwave receives prototype order for an ultra-linear 3G amplifier, operating form 3.4 - 3.7 GHz.

Stealth Microwave receives orders from domestic customer for 1.6 GHz and 1.9 GHz wideband modules for military applications.


3rd Quarter - 2002

Stealth Microwave received numerous military orders for amplifiers in the 300, 1450, 1800 and 1900 MHz bands. Output powers vary form 100W to 800W.

Stealth Microwave receives follow-on orders for single carrier GSM booster amplifiers from two U.S. customers. The units are used in China's GSM network.

Stealth Microwave receives first production order of 100W GSM amplifiers utilizing the SR3 series of 19" rack mount enclosures.

Stealth Microwave receives follow-on order for multi-carrier CDMA amplifiers operating in the 850 MHz and 880 MHz bands.

Stealth Microwave increases staff to meet production schedules.

Stealth Microwave receives follow-on order from Germany for television transmission using OFDM technology.

Stealth Microwave received various orders from domestic customers for wideband units, 5.8 GHz modules, 3.6 GHz OFDM modules and 1.8 GHz QAM amplifiers.


2001

December 21st, 2001
- Stealth Microwave received an extended order for its 3G UMTS, 2.1 GHz, 25 Watt linear amplifiers by a European customer. Half of the units will be for new demonstrations of the customer's 3G network, and half will be for the initial stages of a 3G network build out. Ramp up orders will continue throughout 2002.

August 6th, 2001 - Stealth Microwave received an extended order for its WLL, 3.5 GHz, 50 Watt linear amplifiers by one of it's European customers. The units will be in a new wireless internet system targeted to the European market. "This order shows the confidence in our customer that we can develop a completely new product with strict requirements in a very short amount of time," said Steve Barthelmes, Jr., VP Operations. Further orders are expected 3rd and 4th quarter, along with continued orders for Stealth Microwave's 2.1 GHz and 2.5 GHz products. "We are delighted to be working with a customer that has a solid business plan, and strong growth potential."

May 2001 - SSB Technologies, Inc. is proud to announce it's successful completion of the one-year surveillance audit for ISO9001:1994 QA Standard, Certificate Registration Number 99-1291. No non-conformances were documented. This is a result of our ongoing commitment to quality and our customers!

March 9th, 2001 - Stealth Microwave shipped its' 1000th 3G UMTS driver amplifier to Lucent Technologies. "We are extremely pleased with our relationship with Lucent," said Steve Barthelmes Jr., VP of Operations. "They recognize us as an important supplier, and are very satisfied with our quality. We have not had a single failure with any of the units shipped."
